A flotilla including China's first aircraft carrier Liaoning on July 7 arrived in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) for a visit, during which Liaoning, for the first time, was open for the public to visit.

The idea was originally raised by Lian & Lien’s long-term client, Mr. Hau Pak Man, who is an entrepreneur from Hong Kong and made a proposal at National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC).

As a member of CPPCC and a resident from Hong Kong, Mr. Hau was extremely excited about the visit and had an interview with local media, TakungPao News.

“The visit will allow Hong Kong people to experience great achievement the country has made in national defense, especially the navy‘s development”, he said.

Liaoning had hosted some 2,000 Hong Kong residents during the public ship tour.
