China-Finland Intellectual Property Seminar Holding in Beijing

China-Finland Intellectual Property Seminar was held in Beijing on October 17, 2018. Commissioner Shen Changyu of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and Director General Antti Riivari of Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) attended and addressed the seminar. Shen Changyu remarked that hopefully the seminar may further deepen understanding of CNIPA and PRH on IP system, especially procedure of application for registration of patent and trademark, of the two countries, facilitate service to IP application, layout and protection of the industrial circle, and promote deep-going cooperation between CNIPA and PRH. Antti Riivari expressed that as the world today faces all kinds of challenges, strengthening IP protection is of vital importance. Finland is willing to build consensus and strengthen cooperation with China, so as to provide better and more convenient service to IP users of the two countries. CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Zhang Maoyu presented at the seminar.
At the seminar, representatives from relevant departments of PRH and Finnish enterprises made introduction on Finnish IP system and practical experiences, and answered questions raised by attendees. (Translated from CNIPA Website Chinese Version)
