On October 15, 2018, Lian & Lien’s General Manager Mr. Liu Xiaofeng and Trademark Department Manager Ms. Li Shaoqun met with representatives of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, the Partner Mr. Hong Xinhua, Partner and Patent Attorney Mr. Shin Hung and Attorney-at-law Mr. Jacky Wong, at Lian & Lien’s Beijing Headquarter office.

This is the second time for Borden Ladner Gervais LLP visiting Lian & Lien. The two sides made in-depth exchanges on latest development of patent and trademark in China and Canada. Mr. Jacky Wong made an analysis and introduction on the impact on trademark by the forthcoming IP new rules in Canada for Mr. Liu and Ms. Li. The two sides also reached consensus on strengthening cooperation in future bilateral cooperation.
